Saleem Shaikh & Yasir Akhtar started acting well before ‘Kohar’. They first appeared in Shahzad Khalil’s ‘Dastak’ where Ayaz Naik and Shazia Akhtar (sister of Yasir Akhtar) played the lead. Saleem Nasir played the srtict father of Shazia very well. I watched re-telecast of this drama on PTV-2 in 1995-96.I think, it was originally tele-casted in Mid 80’s. Saleem Shaikh’s ‘Sunehre Din’ was also telecasted before ‘Kohar’ in Late 80’s, whereas Kohar was probably telecasted in 1990-1991.
