. By the way, Dr Anwar Sajjad also written some good dramas for PTV including ‘Abhi waqt hai -directed by Ayub Khawar’, Fard e Jurm *ing: Zaib Sajjad (Anwar Sajjad’s wife) and Firdos Jamal. Zaib Sajjad will be seen in Shoiab Mansoor’s ‘Bol’ after a very long time.

In fact one of the last great PTV dramas i remember was “Tawaan” by Dr. Enver Sajjad which beautifully depicted the lives of average middle class Pakistanis. This was before the whole glamour business ruined our dramas necessitating foreign locales and the casting of clueless models in lead roles.
