PTV has the highest advertisement rates, viewership and on top of that makes a fortune from tv licences and makes more money then geo, ary, aaj, dawn, and others put togeher.
but still its the worstest channel with extremly poor content, will it ever get better, they have enought capital to make there channel on international standards but right now its on pind standards.
on 14t august musharraf inaugrated a new improved ptv, but it hardly changed apart from a new logo which itself was quite cheap looking.
so is it going to ever change, the amount of money they make they can change the channel tommorow, what are they waiting for?
i live in uk watch ptv - the channels classic drama's are good but quality is lacking - if am rite ptv s owned by the government then the channel would never improve like the pk government .

i never knew merrill lynch, World Bank, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are owned by PTV, wow i was wrong i guess, not only in the topic but in my sig too, pakistan must be the new superpower with gov. owning these companies.
yaar waise ek baat hai ke jab ptv tha tou itna zaida exposure nahi tha ab dramas mein ladkiyan kafi revealing kapde pehn leti hain....pehle jab ptv pey is tarah ka kuch hota tha tou foran ban ho jata tha....ptv kabhi kabhi boring ho jata hai but is mein koi shaq nahi ke ptv ne humain excellent dramas dekhne ko diye hain or STN ne bhi.....ab baqi channel ki wajah se yeh ho gaya hai ke agar ek channel per pasand ka kuch na aa raha ho tou dosra channel laga lo.....variety barh gayi hai
