^^^ It seems Siraj Khan is akhrout or got elected independently, getting his own votes, then joined PTI.
According to constitutional amendment made in 2009 by PPP in cooperation of PMLN, all members of parliament have to obey order of their party leader. If they do not, and party leader would want to, their membership of assembly would end.
Now, since 'Siraj Khan' was elected on PTI party ticket and PTI party leader is Imran Khan, if Imran Khan decides, Siraj Khan has to resign, and if he does not resign then still he would lose his parliamentarian seat.

You are misunderstanding the law. That only applies budget bills.

You are right. Imran cannot force MNA and MPA to resign.
Anyhow, unlike PPP and PMLN, most PTI members are elected from PTI votes and not their own votes, so their being in assembly (morally) means nothing if PTI is not behind them.
Didn't Javed Hashmi had to be 're-elected' because he was not part of PTI anymore?
Yes, but he did not have to. He went back to people to seek or renew his mandate as none PTI MNA and lost. If he had refuse quit no one could have forced him to go.
I do not think it applies to all MNA and MPAs. Many of them are going to be in parliament whichever party they contest election. They can contest election as independent, or join BJP and Sev-Sena, still would win.
Anyhow, though I agree with you that Imran cannot force his party members to resign, but he can make them lose their parliamentary seats (as from my understanding of 18th Amendment). What Imran has to do is, take away PTI membership from them, and then send their name to speaker.
From my understanding of new law, a person would lose assembly seat if that person resigns from the party on whose ticket he contested election or stop being member of the party on whose ticket he contested election. Actually, a parliamentarian who got elected on the ticket of a party, new amendment accepts that the seat belongs to party and not the member, thus the person cannot change party nor be a parliamentarian if that person is not in the party whose ticket that person has used to contest election. If I am wrong then please let me know. Thanks
why is he crying? isn't he supposed to tow the party policy lines? is he that naive not to know that? he doesn't wanna loose the handsome salary and benefits that come with the job.
he will be a LOTA soon! PTI doesn't need such loTas. he should be disciplined and expelled from the party...PERIOD!
