Many people mistakenly think that Balochs are the only people living in Balochistan. Balochistan has around 40% of pushtun population and around 10% of punjabis and urdu-speaking people. Unfortunately, tribal loyalties are entrenched in Balochs in Balochistan and no matter what happens, they almost always vote for their sardars. No offence, but its just how they do things…always voting for nationalist parties (nationalist being a polite term for ultra-myopic). Imran will actually be getting the support from the pushtuns and punjabis in Balochistan. On 14th August this year, the pushtuns and punjabis were on the streets doing dances and distributing sweets. You had to be there to see the thousands of people on streets and the magic in air and then you would see why we can say that Balochistan will always be part of Pakistan. I hope the trend will continue when Imran visits inshAllah.
