LAHORE-Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi Tuesday said his party has no intention to derail democracy and it will only adopt a peaceful and Constitutional course to expand its struggle.
Talking to media persons after his meeting with Chaudhry brothers here, he said PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Q share a share a common viewpoint. “PTI and Chaudhry brothers are on one page on many points,” he added.
Qureshi said the meeting was fruitful in which various vital points were agreed upon, however he did not elaborate it. He reiterated that general elections of 2013 were not fair and transparent.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said rather than derailing democracy, PTI wants to strengthen it.
He said the PTI were left with no other option but to go to the people after failure of the concerned forums to address its grievances over election rigging.
Earlier, Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with Chaudhry Brothers and discussed his party’s Long March planed on Aug 14.
According to sources, Qureshi, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi of the PML-Q discussed overall political scenario in the meeting held at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Chaudhary Shujaat said his party would not allow democracy to be derailed. He hailed the meeting as constructive. The meeting discussed overall political situation and agreed to find a democratic way out for all existing problems.
Chaudhary brothers also decided to hold a meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan.
Sources said the political leaders also exchanged views over Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s ‘revolution’ as well as PTI’s Aug 14 rally in Islamabad which is to be held as per the announced schedule.

Can you name one Pakistani politician that matters, who has credibility?
I think, when we talk about credibility and Pakistani political thugs, we should look at comparable credibility, and in that case, Imran has better credibility than most PMLN and PPP leaders. Certainly Imran is not only more credible but also more respectable and honest than Shareefs, Zardaris and Bhuttos.

A mark contradiction. PML(N) and PPP leaders are not credible if they make alliance with tonga, Mush branded party Q-league but it is o.k. for I. K. to make alliance this lota party because he is more credible????????. Refer to "Super Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan" to get your confused credibility theory clear.

Chances are you share a lot of common viewpoints on many topics with Hitler, Ariel Sharon, Narendar Modi, Veena Malik and Meera. Does that make you inseparable from these people? You need to exercise logic while making sweeping statements.

A former member of another party joining PTI is one thing, and PTI making an 'alliance' with a party is another. I dont see where PTI has announced an alliance with PMLN

Lol talk about over reaction, this meeting was about rigging issue and election reforms and there is nothing wrong with it.
It's like PTI and some other parties attending Qadri's conference on one point agenda of Model town tragedy, doesn't mean PTI joined Tahir ul Qadri's movement.
As for Sheikh Rasheed, there is a reason why he is a one member party on his own rather than part of PTI. Have seen videos about him & IK argument millions of times so not sure where he comes into all this.

Naa... Chaudhry brothers' specialty is taking loans from nationalized banks and never returning them. Sugar and flour cartels are represented in PMLN and PPP.
