PTI MPA from Karachi, Imran Shah, travelling with armed guards, gets mad at another driver and repeatedly slaps him in public.

The video goes viral and PTI’s own supporters start condemning him.
First, he tried to lie his way out and makes a lame excuse,

No one buys this except a few people from the local PTI leadership.

But, later explains to the press that he is poor and helpless and has no hope of justice if he were to press charges.

It will be interesting to see if PTI rank and file can prevail over the local leadership that desperately wants to sweep the matter under the rug.

This seems to be the final resolution of the issue.

No expulsion from the party that PTI rank and file wanted.
No legal action as the victim has been ‘convinced’ not to file charges.

Still, it is not nothing. So, better than before.
Change is hard and comes slowly.

DPO transferred after local police reportedly stopped Khawar By

The district police officer of Pakpattan was reportedly transferred after he intercepted Khawar Maneka, former husband of Prime Minister Imran Khan?s wife, for speeding.

Earlier on August 23, according to police sources, the personnel tried to stop Khawar at a checkpoint but he did not stop. However, they chased his vehicle and managed to intercept him.

Khawar misbehaved with the police and hurled expletives at them when they stopped him, sources added.

After that, the Punjab government summoned DPO Rizwan Gondal on Friday and also asked him to go to Pakpattan to seek an apology from Khawar.

The DPO refused to obey the orders and did not apologise to Khawar, saying the police was not at fault over intercepting him, sources added.

He was then transferred, reportedly for refusing to seek an apology from Khawar.
