this is so sad, he belonged to very poor family, he did his election campign on motor bike. he was president of hangu football association, he fought as independent candidate and later joined PTI.may ALLAH bless his soul

It seems to be sectarian killing. As per some reports he used to be a member of ASWJ in the past. He contested and won the elections as an independent and later joined PTI. The supporters of Farid Khan have torched a market. First big crisis for the provincial government of KPK.

This case is very complex, the killing can be due to the following four reasons:

1) Personal enmity

2) Sectarian killing

3) JUIF - as their candidate was beaten by Farid

4) TTP

Farid Khan was the 1st MP who came on bike to attend the assembly session. Let’s hope KP govt will find the killers & award them punishment.

I agree 100% this is first challenge for KPK govt. They have to be impartial and completely transparent and bring the culprits to the fore.
