Not really, PTI increased its overall vote this time and there was a sympathy wave for the son in law of the former candidate.

The real contest should have been PML-PPP-JUI but PTI overtook JUI in the final vote. PTI was let down by infighting too.

So we can call it another Moral Victory of PTI?
