KARACHI: Clifton police has arrested three men suspected of involvement in the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid Hussain, sources told DawnNews.
A charge sheet was also drawn up in this regard and further arrests may be made in her murder, the sources added.
Police had earlier declared Ms Husain’s murder to be an act of targeted killing, ruling out the possibility that the PTI leader was killed while resisting a mugging attempt at her Defence house.

The PTI leader was gunned down in Defence Phase-IV on May 19, 2013.
Before choosing her political career, Ms Husain was associated with Karachi University’s international department as its faculty member. She taught there until the 1980s.

Not good news.. Its just political blackmailing and look at the timing.

As if you don’t know, there are no murderers in MQM. If proven murderers, they were expelled from the party, way before they commit murder (najoomi baba’s prophecy to know who is going to murder someone)

I perceive no outcome on this matter. Its totally political blackmailing as usual.
I think there will be outcome of this case. Most probably raid and arrest of mqm workers yesterday are liked with this murder. It is their old tradition that whenever hard core mqm criminals were arrested, a number of mqm supporters attacked that police station and get these criminals released. I hope this time government will not allow this nonsense.

Mufahimat (munafiqat) policy already in action. Qaim Ali Shah has already ordered a committee to address MQM's concerns.
He should also be arrested by rangers for addressing or try to release the killers, if really mqm workers who were arrested earlier are involved in the killing of vice president of PTI.

Regarding Zahra Aapa Murder:- I have not seen full details but to say that Pakistan Security Agency has confirmed that she was killed by MQM people is very suspicious. First such black & white confirmations are difficult in best of circumstances, and are extremely rare in Pakistan; I wonder if any such previous confirmation was made in a murder case linking it with a political party. But leave all these questions aside, one can wonder that why this "Confirmation" is coming at this stage when in PTI Jalsa in Karachi, Imran Khan was prudent and cautious not to blame MQM for Zahra's murder and even for rigging in Karachi. It was obvious that he had learnt his lessons well and was not prepared to offend MQM at a time when he needed to focus his energies elsewhere. Now this Confirmation will force many PTI people to take positions against MQM; so who could be behind this "Confirmation by Pakistani Security Forces" at this stage?

In tweets from his official account and per the statement released to the press. Imran further held the British Government responsible, claiming that the British government had been warned to act against Altaf Hussain following open threats to kill PTI workers. “Unfortunately the British Government did nothing to stop his calls to violence and killings.”
Shortly after the incident, the MQM chief issued a statement of his own where he condemned the murder and demanded that the government immediately arrest the culprits and accord them the most severe punishment as per law.
Imran said Zara apa, as she was known to all within the party, was an old and senior Party leader who was a mentor to the PTI youth and a committed ideological leader of the Party.

PTI is involved in killings, and have they caught and released any criminal in KPK for political leverage?

That's not what you implied in your statement. Your statement implied that PTI just like other criminal murderous party like MQM/PPP/PMLN is involved in killings and they catch and release criminals to gain political leverage. I am sorry, but that's absolutely false and baseless and misleading claim.
There is huge difference in what you are claiming in this post and what you said earlier.

No it is not! You implied (I won't use the word claim just to keep it polite) that PTI just like PPP and MQM is involved in killings and releases the killers to gain political leverage. A huge, absolutely huge difference.

Whilst Punjab jails are filled with detained PTI activists and supporters, the last thing PTI needed was to have likes of Dr Alvi, Imran Ismaeel and many other local leaders killed and supporters attacked (God forbid). Harsh reality.
In politics you cannot please everyone, whilst some people are disappointed that no bloodshed and killings took place, I'm sure many PTI supporters and sympathisers who actually live in Karachi are relived that PTI did not bring political violence and unrest in the City which seems to the the only aim for all stakeholders in Karachi.
