Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
Please help me understand why parvez kahtak ' son in law and asad qasir's brother are running on PTI tickets for by elections ?
What happened to " no to morsii siyasat " ?
No wonder , no reply ;)
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
^ this issue was raised in Naya KPK thread when they were only nominated, and everyone here said its just nomination by someone, there is no way IK could agree to this, come back when they are awarded ticket. and now they are awarded ticket
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
I have said it before and will repeat it, Pervez Khattak will prove to be Zardari of PTI i.e. destroy PTI.
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
^ zardari ko PPP main overlook karnay wala koi nahi tha, lekin PTI main Khattak ko overlook karnay wala hay. So if Khattak continues his way, shouldn't his supervisor share this blame?
by the way, i've no problem with their sons/brothers contesting election, that's all fair in my view, whoever can win from a place and can implement party policy and is a reasonably good administrator should be OK to run election, but problem is, cursing others to do one thing and then letting your own people repeat it.
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
I have said it before too, i will repeat it here. PTI is locked somewhere between traditional politics & the change that they talk about. It will take them sometime to make the full transformation. Because after all, it belongs to our society where such issues are common.
Now let me address issue of PK's son in law & Asad Qaiser's brother. Being someone's relative should not automatically grant someone some privilege. Similarly, it should also not put someone down just because he or she is relative of a high up And he or she has put efforts for the party.
PK's son in law has a deserved nomination because of the efforts he has put in for the party even before GE. Asad Qaiser's brother does NOT have a deserved nomination because he is not an active worker of the party.
Similarly, Mahmood ur Rashid's wife name was put up in women's reserved list from punjab, was taken out because she did not have any other credentials apart from being his wife. Same is the case for Ejaz Chaudhry's relative and JH's daugther.
Compare this situation with other parties where Mushahid ullah's daughters and Saad Rafique's wife get nomination undeservingly (without doing anything notable for the party). Where Shahbaz's son gets youth presidency just because he has Sharif next to his name. Point is that PTI is not an angelic party and such issues will arise but such issues will be much less (but will get much more publicity) than other parties.

So why should PTI voters vote for him ? Shouldnt this taken care rather then being apologetic ? it cant be like '' please pick us as we are less corrupted then the rest ''
Either you deserve it or you NOT - There is no middle ground here :)
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
a justification that starts with "usnay bhi to kiya tha.../ wo bhi to..." is among the lamest ones to come about...
Re: PTI becoming a drawing room party?
And Since PTI talks very high about Accountability and its coming from common people .... The true PTI voters in By Elections areas should show their discomfort on such nominations and SHOULD not vote ......
If not then ' Is Hamaam mein Saab NanGay haiN '' or NanGa kia nahay ga or kia nichoRey ga :)

That is my point. I hope PTI loses this seat so that a clear message is sent.

bhaijaan read my post again. No justification for anything. I hope you did not miss my point.

Apparently the so-called council is agreeing to whatever PK is pushing, probably like so called executive council in PPP.
