PTDC tour packages....

i am going to karachi next week…
after finishing off the period which i must stay in karachi (for a wedding), i do not wish to reside there longer…
hence i plan to travel to the northern areas…
someone suggested that i take the ptdc tours cuz their service/hotels etc r good…

i checked their site and found that they have 8 days, 9 days, 15 days tours…
no price mentioned…

so, can anyone tell me how much it will cost me so i can take that much cash with me…
i am a “no credit card” guy hence i must take cash for everything…

any info about ptdc tours???

thanx guys…

Re: PTDC tour packages…

yes, you are right that ptdc didn’t listed the prices online..but they have listed their shandur package for Rs. 20,000..its in july though..so, i am not sure if you would be interested in that..in case, you have missed it..here’s the link:

Out of all the sites that i have seen for pakistani tours..i found punjab tourism website to have the best rates and packages. Check out their summer packages:

Hope it helps

Re: PTDC tour packages....

There used to be a great package offered by Pak Cricket Board in Lahore that involved cricket matches. Are you into playing cricket?

Re: PTDC tour packages…

Qrius, these summer packages sound awesome. Does anyone have experiences to share?

Re: PTDC tour packages…

I found a very detailled map of awesome quality of the Northern Areas, which might help you to plan your trip.

Re: PTDC tour packages....

Qrius, thanx sis for the info....
i was looking for tours from karachi....
i guess i'll just have to visit an office in karachi and discuss the tour there itself....

just wanted to have an idea before i go cuz i have none as is and cud easily be tricked in to paying a lot....

Umer thanx bro....
i'll try to pritn the map and keep a copy for reference....

Re: PTDC tour packages…

You’ll need to print it on a large size paper, as the map itself is quite huge.
