Is that the same as Rosacea? I dont know how to spell it. For mild forms the Dr gives this Metronondizanole cream / gel, works really well.
Anyhow, i have heard that E45 cream is very good, bcos u have to keep skin well moisturised. I would put E45 on and then cover it with vaseline.
