Sony punched back at Microsoft, pricing its new PlayStation 4 console at $399 - $100 less than the new Xbox One.

$400 not bad as compared to $500+ for PS3 when it came out.

Yes, Sony crushed Microsoft with the price and their used game policy.

PS4 Pros:

  1. Better hardware than XBoxOne (GDDR5 RAM and better GPU)
  2. No online requirement (can play offline)
  3. No forced DRM
  4. No Used Games restrictions
  5. $100 cheaper than XBoxOne
  6. No Kinect like camera requirement (PSEye is optional $59 upgrade)
  7. Smaller and better design than XBoxOne

The only drawback is that now you need PSN Plus subscription for online multiplayer (i have PSN Plus already, so it doesnt matter to me)
