TB, I dont mind the games prices being hiked because what you can do is exchange your old PS2 games for new ones and get a discount on the new game depending on how old the PS2 game is.

For 360, ended up just paying 10 bucks for Ridge Racer by exchanging a Xbox game.

So if they are lowering the prices for console which they should do cause I dont see no teenage kids convincing their parents to fork out 1000 for a PS3. Unless the parent is Me and a PS nutter :D

The original launch price was USD499 but there are strong rumours that because of the delay in launch, Sony will reduce the price of the console and increase the price of games. Just Blue Ray Drive is worth the price.

They will have to drop the price of the console regardless.

The way its designed is to hook up to router modems.
They also wanto market the product overseas where router modems arent really a big thing.

Ppl cannot plug the console straight into their standard modems and voila they are online.

360 live sucked big time.
I duno bout the PS3 though.

YOu can get almost the same games over other consoles like XBox or even PC games.

What good is a game if the graphics and the interface isnt mind blowing.

It's true that many games are multiplatform. We still haven't seen how different the graphics will be between the two consoles. Still, I always make the actual games the deciding factor on which console I get over another. Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Devil May Cry 4 haven't managed to impress me enough to sell me the PS3 just yet.

premium version is £260 in japan today.

In US around $495 i think

for UK they are selling it for £445. Basically nearly an extra £200 over Jap for that reason I may boycott it
