Canada has the largest French population that never surrendered to
Germany.
We have the largest English population that never ever surrendered or withdrew during any war to anyone, anywhere.
Our civil war was a bar fight that lasted a little over an hour.

Nice post. Canada has a great deal to be proud of… don’t forget that Canada has also produced many famous celebrities, including Jim Carrey, James Cameron, Celine Dion and Bryan Adams.
The one thing we don’t have anything to be proud about is how we treated and continue to treat our Aboriginal population… definitely not something to be proud about.

, I think Canada is a Beautiful country from what my Canadian Pakistani friends have told me.

I would agree nadia, that is a sad aspect of Canadian Society, I wish more people would talk about this forgotten issue.
