'nutter' eh.. remind me never to back you up again ptolemy, no good deed goes unpunished it seems.
i am truly hurt.
You also backed up *lillyy2k2 *didn't you? And that post was pretty biased.
And do you want to know why I called you a 'nutter'? Because I bet you never bothered to find out whether what I was saying was even true. You jumped at the first chance of criticizing India and 'Indian hegemony'. You were not backing me up...you were simply using my post to vent out your anti-India , anti-hindu feelings.
lolzzz i think soni deary we can start a whole new thread on who forced whom to do wat... but yeh again as sum wud say ignorance is bliss i can understand start thinking from a non-biased end ... otherwise chill...
EXACLTY..ignorance is bliss ...so keep on livin in u rfool's paradise dude!

anti-india feelings are suddenly cause for aggression now? as if we all dont have some anti-India feelings ourselves whether we admit it or not.
come on man.. bottom line i came across a post that i thought looked good and felt might be controversial but decided to stick up for you. and you sold me down the river first chance you got just to get some brownie points with some indians.

Did you even read my post in response to soni? I am NOT a pakistani. *I am an Indian. *An Indian hindu from mumbai living in the UK. Thats why I know exactly what the slogan meant. I have neither any anti-India nor any anti-Pak feelings. And I am not interested in scoring any brownie points.
I think you genuinely feel offended and I can only appologize for that. I just thought lillyy2k2's post was not in good taste and you stood up for it.
^..why do u keep changing ur religious orientation?..one time u say ur agnostic..then u say ur hindu..?...ur confused honey..first find out what u r and hwere u belong then answer ravage's q..
Agnostic is not a religious group or atleast I don't consider it to be one. It is an outlook. I was born a hindu and that is what my identity is. And I think I have answered ravage's q.
i didnt say it was a religious group..i said religious orientation..agnostic ppl think it is impossible to know if there is a god or not whereas hindus do believe in god..or several..
No it is not a religious orientation because agnostic means being non-religious in the first place. When I said I was a hindu, I meant that is what I was born as. And my outlook may be that of an agonstic but i haven't forsaken my religion officially. So tomorrow if I get married it will be according to hindu customs. And thats how it is with most agnostic people.

yes it is..religious orientation means how u see religion(u can see it in anyway)....even if u dont believe in god..atheist would be a relgious orientation..its how u see god/relgigion..u r mixing up group with oreintation..please check outthe definition of orienation.(the relative positions of certain gropus)...meaing where u r on this spectrum of belief..whther u bleive in god or not..it is just ascertaining ur postion..not as in categorical sense.
You've made a lot of statements without making much sense *to me. *I guess I must be a little slow. We are basically arguing over a technical definition that neither can prove nor disprove. I very much doubt that an atheist would agree if you said atheism is a religious orientation. But I don't claim to know everything so you may be right after all. So lets agree to disagree here.
P.S I did check out the definition of 'orientation' as you suggested. Thanks, it opened up new hitherto unknown vistas of knowledge for me.

agnostic or hindu? confused mind first go figure out what you're.

not that we're interested to know who you 're. don't bother too much about why pakistani contestants have to chant hindu slogans. loads of issues in india to talk about worry about them first. mr agnostic cum hindu cum xyz.
I do think that the mentors should change their slogans to more secular ones.
and another thing, it was during the overseas "Videshi" participants wala round, and after all had sang, Shankar said that "where ever thay are, thay have only India in their heart."
hello, there was an Omani girl and the only guy,Jaffery, who i think is a Afghan.
anyways, i think a proper thread for SRGMP should be made.
i think this year's SRGMP would be a bit boring.
i really miss Vishal-Shekhar.
the only participants i really liked are Faraz Butt,Asma, the Chandigarh wali and the Kolkatta wala.
