Protecting Afghanistan from Pakistanis and other 'good' neighbors

You forget that gor years even prior to the invasion by the Russians, Afghanistan was trying to destabalize Pakistan.

Pakistan being a young country, and having already had a hostile neighbor to one side, has every right to defend itself.

The Russians invaded, and were kicked out by the help of Pakistan, Saudi, and the US. Most Afghans are are proud of that time and are happy to have had the support...
Pakistan did have a tendancy to support the Pashtuns more then others, but considering we have a huge Pashtun population in Pak and a history of Afghan hostility to contend with, its seems understandable keeping in mind long term issues for Pakistan.

You obviously dont seem to understand that most of the damage post soviet era was due to the warlords... They started fighting among themselves and ended destroying much of Kabul.
Outside of Kabul and the major cities, Afghanistan was the same mess its always been.

The Taliban were sent in with the support of Pak, many of whom were veterans of the Russian war, and they managed to gain control of much of the country. Initially, they were welcomed.
They turned out to be idealogical cavemen, but in international politics, who gives a crap.

So basically, if your going to try and crucify PAKISTAN, learn some history first.
If Afghanistan wanted peace, they shouldnt have tried to destroy the peace in Pakistan. All fair in love and war as they say.

You need to blame Afghanistan aswell for the mess its in.
