any smart ideas on how to protect hair while swimming i swimm like 3-4 days a week thought i wear a shower cap i feel it is not enough…

i cant think of anything except swimming cap for protection. the next best thing you can do is use a good clarifying shampoo afterwards to wash the hair out well.

“Always shower immediately after swimming. The swim cap does help some. The biggest tip for your hair is using a generous amount of conditioner every time you shower. When I swam competitively I used 2 bottles of conditioner for every bottle of shampoo and my hair was always soft. For your skin, drinks lots of water and use lotion several times a day. I hope this helps.”

I use a leave-in conditioner and comb it thru my hair and then wear my cap =) works well for me!
