Wow. Thanks for sharing that hadith. I mean, sometimes you recite Quran on the bus, or in the train, while driving, or while doing something. What if you aren’t able to prostrate right then? That was my intention behind what I mentioned up there.

Teggy bhai, I think it is not mandatory to do right at the spot when we hear such verse, but we can do it later on and we should do it b’coz I heard it is mandatory.

Scherbatsky, I think it is Sunnah+mandatory. Interestingly, in such prostration, there is no need to be in a state of ablution, in case if we are not and that can be offered.
