exactly ...there are studies in medical literature that prove alcohol is beneficial to heart in moderate quantities ...shud we now start drinking as well?
Just to clear this matter up. Its not alcohol that is particularly good, it is anti oxidant flavinoids particularly Resveratrol found in red wine (and the skin and seeds of red grapes as well). While there is some evidence that alcohol in moderation may raise good cholesterol and improve sugar metabolism, such data is sketchy or valid in very specific test conditions.
what kind of reference you need? religious, scientific?
not to forget, they way you are acting is more like a joker.
the only person who is actually critically examining (to some extent) is mufakkar.
Miss Zubi a. Behave yourself. Look at the whole thread and see where this whole name calling started before you start typing again.
I agree the person who is really giving some weight to this joke thread is muffakar and I have already given credit to him and some other people in the last post.
If you have any references religious or otherwise bring them on.
zobia, if that has convinced you, then u’r very gullable. next time someone sends you an email requesting your credit informatioin, u’r not going to forward it are you? Don’t just believe everything that assigns any kind of benefit to islam without thinking it through yourself.
If a non-muslim was reading this and saw a bunch of muslims going on about it what would he think? It makes us look ridiculus.

Peace All
I find sajud personally good to reduce stress, but my take on it is not to do with electromagnetic waves, or to use the head as some sort of thing that needs discharging like a lightning rod.
There are much better physiological explanations than this pseudo-science theory.
Firslty, the balance ... Sense of balance, pressure and so on are felt in the head, the ears have a big role to play. Blood is what provides the head with oxygen. Tipping the head in a direction which is easier for the blood to flow means more blood to the head. This means potentially more oxygen. Also pressure is felt when the head tips downward, when the head moves back up there is a draining effect and that soothes as the vessels in the head lose pressure.
The disorientation of being inverted makes the mind think about other things and what can sometimes be a thought that fails to go away could be one that pops away in to thin air simply by sajud.
Stress is felt in the back and the posture of sajud removes all weight from that area. It is an organic position to be in. The curled up position is one that is based on nature for comfort, we are like this in the womb and when people suffer shock or are cold they curl up this is essentially the position of sajud. All these factors put together remove my stress but EM waves I'm not too sure about. LOL
As for the Islamic take ... Yes to think of the greatness of ones Lord and the lowness of oneself is pinnacle to the position of sajud, it puts into symbolic form the incomparable nature of the relationship between man and Lord. It should henceforth follow that God makes conforming to our design purpose a path of ease and relief. Worship is a cure in itself and cleansing.
