i'd luv to do it the conventional way :p go up to the girl's dad n ask him @ " Sir. I want to marry ur daughter." If u go directly to the girl, u make things dificult for urself at times :p
and if that sumone is my friend, she'd know it without me saying anything :p that would be an easier-to-handle scenario :)

i think that is the cutest and most romantic way..rather then asking the girl directly or having ur parents do it (which is the traditional way). :)
