Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

Re: Prophet’s (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

By their logics, then nothing should remain, not Hazrat Ibrahims (as) footprint or any other such historic memory. AFter all, people could worship those too.

Wahabbism is only being used as an excuse to destroy our heritage. That heritage belongs to the entire Muslim world. I hope the petition will have some sort of effect, though considering what has been destroyed in the past, I doubt they will listen to the protests. :frowning:

Re: Filthy Saudi’s Destroying Home of the Prophet SAW

You probably have said it 10 times already, how do you suggest that this place be controlled by rest of Islamic world? Do you think kingdom will allow that?

Re: Prophet’s (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

yep, yes they also level up the Jannat-ul-baqee, Hira Cave, place of “ghazwa-e-Badr”.

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

Saudi's are Bid'ah and Shirk.

Pak should nuke them.

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

these petitions have no effect....
they r a waste of time and effort....

there r reasons why they do such things....
there was time when people used to collect sand/dust from these places and eat them (the so called khaak-e-shifaa) which is absurd....
and some also start worshipping such places....

besides a prophet's home has no religious significance as does not the cave of hira (which no one hs yet decided to demolish or anything, just plain rumors)....

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

^^

Agree with Mughal...

Also, it would be kind of hypocritical of Muslims to leave their history and culture intact in the name of religion (Which these sites are not part of) while destroying other artifacts such as the Bamiyan statues...

If we break idols, statues, artifacts of other religions (placed outside their respective house of worship) then it should be fair that we treat our supposedly holy relics the same way...After all, ignorant Muslims treat them as if they were holy and start doing nonsensical stuff...

I remember a case that when Masjid e Zainab was being painted, the old color from the dome had to be scraped for the new paint...Zealous Shias rushed to the site and started eating the flakes of old paint and all got extreme food poisoning and a few died...

This time the number of Hujjaj was officially 1 million and the unofficial count was 2.5 million...

If these places were to be torn down and structures that helped, aided Hajis and provided them relief was built, that is more nobler than a lifeless structure...

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

wht a losers u people r..infact u people lack common sense...yes there is no such religious importance of prophet birth place but islam has allowed us to use our brains....
such things r historically very important and precious...and justifying the destruction our own history is totally BS...if people do bidahs then its saudis responsibility to stop people doing idiotic things and abt hajj people, then government should look another means to make the mosque bigger...
all such things r our history and it has their importance....just cannot believe how some wahabies tryin to defend destruction of historical places on the forum and only beac saudia government is also wahabi..simple losers

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

making mosque bigger????
ppl cant live and sleep in the mosque....
they need apartments and hotels....

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

I find it a bit mind-boggling that Muslims (including me) these days don't even follow the shariah much, yet are so concerned about demolishing a building. I believe there's absolutely nothing in the shariah that suggests that such buildings shall not be destroyed. Yes, they may be good for the purpose of having them around as historical artifacts, but if there is a felt need to demolish them and construct something else that could help the pilgrims then why not?

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

more important places like safa and marwa have almost been lost to make it easy for people and i never heard anyone complain....

and does anyone really know how authentic this story is????
last time i visited makkah i heard that the house of the Prophet (saw) is already being used as a public library....

any info????

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

sadiyah, destroy everything rite...who made u moderator by the way?..
historical facts r of immense importance as old things do have special place in heart and attract people attraction...u r just supporting beac u r wahabi and saudi government is the biggest promoter of wahabism..infact even in aids, saudis make deals with pakis to allow to spread their version of Islam..if i tell my non muslims friens tht we destroy our own historical places they will laugh and more ever, will give galis to saudis..

all of u guys seriously need to grow up

Re: Prophet’s (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

a-murga,when i said “make the mosque bigger”,i did not mean tht people would live here..
experts should sit and decide the ways from where they can make mosque bigger by not destroying the birth place…in past,u made a totally wrong and biased comments abt tableeghi jamaat and now u r trying to defend the idiotic acts of saudis just beac u r wahabi…u bettta step down from the moderatorship

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

Guy1, mind your language as to what you say about others. If you have any issues about the two of us being moderators, please speak to the Admin rather than dragging it in the forums.

Keep your wahabi rhetoric to yourself. I am in no way affiliated to Saudis and have absolutely nothing to do with them. If anything, you seem to be having a pretty strong bias against those who do not share your views.

Muslims are in dire need of following the Shariah first and should then worry about the buildings that are being demolished.

Try to be a little more respectful next time.

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

haha....u r making me laugh....infact i think if i will begin to laugh like tht,i might be in heaven enjoying hoors.haha
i dont wanna comment on ur reply simply beac ur extremely poor defending does not even deserve reading,so replying is a far away thingie....might be u people r so much innocent or .....

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

^ so did u actually try to find out how authentic the report is or u really r not interested in finding out any truth????

as i said before, i think the house is already being used as a public library....

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

ok..house is using as library so u think its a good thing??...saudis ahve destroyed plenty of other things tht were of historical importance....and i have no hesitation some day fool saudis will destroy the birth place on the name of wahabism....
such things dont have religious importance as we all know but they are extremely precious beac they r old and belong to our religion...so again its all abt common sense

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

"they dont have religious importance.... but they belong to our religion...."

yeh sab kia keh rahay ho miyan????
khud hee baat kartay ho khud hee apni baat ki jhutlaatay ho....

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

oh bhai..wht i meant was in hadiths, there is no such importance for birth place but when i said "they belong to our religion"..tht means such historical things belong to our shahabas and prophet...and it must be preserve....and infact, even non religious things which r antique have lot of importance and worth,so y cannot such things which belong to our religious figures...
give something logical my dear..y cannot saudis built the mosque in such way tht the birth place comes into the mosque area...there must be another options.....but saudis will continue their destruction on the name of wahabism

Re: Prophet's (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

why r u bringing the mosque into this????

in madinah, the Prophet's (saw) house was adjacent to the mosque so it was enclosed withtin the expansion of the mosque....
in makkah it is not so, hence u cant just bring the house into the mosque....

Re: Prophet’s (SAW) birthplace up for demolition/petition/article(s) (merged)

Who made u moderator is mind boggling, u wish to be the moral guardian of Gupshup yet have no respect for religious sensibilities of those who hold Prophets memories in great esteem. When Mr Bennet expressed his abort black foetuses to reduce crime in the US he was expressing just an opinon, just like u Mdm.
