Preservation.. yes..
worship .. no
but the muslims have a bad history with such sites of historic or religious significance. just look at Data Darbar.. and what the people do there..
It would be nice for them to preserve it, but purely from archaeological viewpoint. but once again.. when you look at the general perception and action of muslims.. lack of access to such a place may not be that bad.
after all.. it is just a house.
BTW.. are we sure he wasn't born in a tent?
