Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the author of Quran?

Astagfirullah…

I have a dilemma…We have an “Islamic Studies” class at my university and the Professor insist that Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is the author of the Quran…Yaad rahay k i am not in that class, but some of my friends were taking that class and he told them that, even though they tried their best to explain it to him that Quran was only REVEALED to Him.

My friends did not succeed in convincing him, so they dropped out of the class simply becasue the professor was too ignorant to listen.

This has been bothering me much, I want to convince him and talk to him about, what approach should i take?

As far as the contention that the Prophet Muhammad is the author of the Qur’an is concerned, I really do not think that it deserves any attention unless an academic basis is provided to support it. If the person can do so, tell me.

Few days ago a Christian Missionary came to my house and drobed some little pamplets for me to read about what God is and who is he, whats his name and everything, christian perspective off course. I didn’t read it. Today she came back and started to tell me about Bible.

I asked her if she knows about Quran. She goes, yes, yes, I know, is it like Bible?
I said, Yeah its not exactly like bible but one of the heavenly revealed books of God. She goes, no Quran was written by Man!!!

I said, what?

Than I asked her if Bible has those things which Quran has(i.e., How baby develops in side the womb, big bang, the defeat of Romans, and many other issues relating to other aspects of our lives…) the answer she gave me was, No.

I asked, her than what is mans word, Bible or Quran she was speechless, and started another topic.

Ask them, which VERSION of the bible is authentice, there are more than 70 versions, ask them which one is true???

Here's something interesting extrated from there very own bible:

'But when the spirit of truth comes , he will guide you unto all truth. he will not spek his own, he will only spek what he hears and he will tell you what is yet to come. he will bring glory to me (i.e. Jesus, Isa a.s.) by taking what is mine and making it known to you.' Bible - John 16:12-14

The Quran, revealed 1400 yrs ago, mentions facts only recently discovered and understood.

'And they say,"Why are not the signs sent down from the Lord? Say, "Indeed the signs are with Allah, and I am a clear warner." But is it not sufficient for them that we have sent down to you the Book which is rehearsed to them? verily in that is a mercy and reminder to those that believe.' Quran 29:50-51

'Do they not ponder on the Quran? Had it been from other than God, they would surely have found therein much discrepency.' Quran 4:82

This lays down the guantlet. A clear challenge to anyone to find an error. Ever since the revelation of the Quran there have been many attempts to discredit it. The challenge remains open.

First of all - Our Prophet was illetrate - can't read or write.......

Then see the first revealed words of the Quran....

"Read in the Name of Your Lord"

Was those words meant for our prophet who couldn't read...... Nope they were meant for US.....

How can man who can't read or write ; write a perfect book as the Quran!

It is almost impossible to convince these people about the authenticity of the Quran... They just can't hear the truth!

rahi baat jesus (ya EISA alehsalam) ki to paida hotay ke sath jis nabi nay pehli baat ye kahi ke "I AM THE SERVANT OF GODALMIGHTY", that removes all doubts about his issue of being RELATED to god(astaghfirrullah), meaning the relation is only an ASSUMPTION, thus cancelling MISSIONARY's TEACHING (or TRYINGS of teaching) (in watcher's case), and ANYONE's objection about the quran .. cuz their base isn't right, objection ki imaarat khaak sahi hogi?

What's in Quran are word of Allah (swt) and
hadees are Mohammad's (pbuh) sayings...
just tell the moron teacher that
there is a BIG difference between the two..

Well Sehar, I don't think you or any body can do anything about what your professor believes. Its a matter of beliefs or faith and faith is blind.
What he is telling you is basically what he has learned all his life and what you think is what you learned all your life.
What he is saying is simply what a christian thinks. I don't think there is anything offensive. This is the common belief of billions of christians in the world as well of any non-muslim..
Christians do not accept Prophet Muhammad to be a true prophet while Muslim believe in Jesus as a prophet.
Problem is that what he is teaching is against your faith and he has no right to hurt your faith, so either he should say that Muslim believe that Koran is God's words or you should not enroll in his class.

Belief is not what mind possesses, it is what possesses the mind!

And if you are in doubt concerning what We have revealed to our slave(Muhammad) then produce a surah of the line and call your witnessess other than Allah if you are truthful.

*Say: if all the mankind and the jinn were to gather together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like of it thereof, even if they helped each other with help and support. *
