I recently learned that there are some prophesies about prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in several Hindu scriptures including Bhagwat Geeta. Anyone has heard about this? Any of our Hindu Guppie aware of this?

But I do want to point out to the readers and posters that …. the point of this discussion was just curiosity and not to establish that these scriptures are correct or “Hey look it is even in Hindu scriptures….” … Muslims believe in the authenticity of Quran only ….

The first link given here… This is a christian missionary site. It attempts to ‘expose’ islam, it should not be trusted.
Also the link attempts to ‘disprove’ the claim the Muhammad :saw: is mentioned in hindu scriptures.

PA .. look at my second post for the intent of this thread... we are not establishing the truthfulness of any scriptures here…. mere curiosity…
does it really matter if we look at it from a christians point of view or if Muhammad was not found in the scriptures?
^ and why should we look at christian’s view point when we want to confirm something…are you suggesting that our sources are weaker than theirs?

They don’t believe in him to begin with then why would they believe that he is mentioned in hindu or any other scriptures. We Muslims(no matter where we were born) should not use these sites at any cost because if you’ve read some articles especially on this site then you know that they use our holy texts just to insult Islam and our Prophet :saw:.

They go to great lengths to disprove islam in everyway possible. This is probably the most anti islamic site on the web, why would u want to promote it?
This site would only cause confusion and doubt about islam.
If you want to learn from them that is your choice, but muslims should be warned about it.
And anyway about whether or not Prophet Muhammad :saw: appears in previous scriptures has no bearings on islam and what was revealed by him. Muslims only believe in the Quran and follow the example of the Prophet :saw:.

we dont NEED to look at christians point of view, but i dont find any harm in it.. i myself learnt a lot bout my own religion from a christain..

sadzz, M is right…these types of sites will only confuse you and upset you because most of us Muslims don’t have good understanding of some Islamic topics and these articles lead us to make wrong judgments about Islam and Muhammed :saw:. Hope you’ll know what I mean…
their claims about our Prophet :saw: are totally false and biased…We should read about his life in details from Islamic sources ONLY…We just shouldn’t use these websites…They make our imaan weak…
