whoever has dealt with or seen miserable aunts and uncles, greedy, malicious or vicious nature of these ‘relatives’, while your parents were side-stepped and hurt or humiliated by their siblings, because of Grand parents’ property divisions which your parents’ siblings claimed, please share if you like, how would you take a lesson from such behaviors, and in what ways it affected you or your parents?

Well my wifes father did not get along with his parents and brothers and sisters. Wife's grandfather had large amount of farmland.
Anyway, my wifes father came to USA illegally and worked many years but was killed in a robbery.
After his death, my wifes uncles and aunts have not give her dad's share to her and her brothers. Basically it is about 20-30 acres worth more than $1 million. But this land has already been sold and divided among them.
So DO NOT TRUST your relatives. Because when it comes to money they will forget you even exist.

For this reason, it is always better to divide and give the shares where they are due (according to Quran & Sunnah) in your life rather than having your children fight over it, thus, effecting their ties and relations with other relatives.
