I’ve been thinking and planning to buy something in Karachi preferably in PECHS, Mohd Ali, Defence or Clifton… and as everyone knows.. the prices are not for the faint of the heart 
I’m looking in the range of 8-12 million
I was wondering is it possible to find out what current projects are going on in these areas? I’ve been checking Jang/Dawn regularly, but except for a few apartment buildings in North Karachi or Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Sundays, nothing seems to get listed…?
I’m not interested in a large apartment complex but rather a small unit or townhouse or duplex. Askari 1,2,3 are good options mainly due to good security, but I think they are over-priced considering they are 20+ years old.
Reason I’m interested in new developments is because they usually provide 1-2 years for payments which would be helpful to me.
Just looking for ideas or suggestions from others who may be in the same situation or would like to share their experiences.
