Say you have an hour long DVD. For some odd reason you want a lot of people to watch it. You decide to make, say, 500,000 copies. You have about $5,000 at your disposal. Time isnt a factor although you would like to have the project completed in a couple months. You have sufficient manpower, i.e. 15-20 people. You don’t need to spend any money on marketting as you’re not making any money (say theyre distributed free of charge). And you cannot approach any major company… consider this a basement project.
So, how would you go about undertaking this project, i.e. how would you use your money to fund resources such as duplication hardware, DVD media, etc. Do you think $5000 will get this job done? If you think more money would be required, how much do you think would be required?
No this is not a school case study that im trying to make you guys do for me.. ive been out of school for 3 years now.
Half million copies of DVDs would cost you more than $5,000 let alone the hardware. On the other hand if I was you, I (and would have my team members) would get DVD copiers from Best-Buy, Circut City and other similar store, use them for like 10-15 days and return them and go to another chain store until the project is done.
Yeah i just figured its gonna take alot more than 5000$. Okay forget $5000. Whats the least amount of money that would be required to undertake such a project?

'n he's rite btw.. do this.. get the pennysaver, look into the back portion (last 2-4 pages) for classifieds and professional services.. u will see mass duplication services.. i remember there were just whole shops that used to offer JUST duplications..
