I’m not asking why you work as a programmer, but whether you have a passion for the act of programming. I think of programming the same way as an artist thinks of painting or a poet writes a poem, it’s not simply a means to an end, or a job, but something inside of you that needs to be expressed or something which you have to solve and you look for the solution in your head.

I love the art of debugging, especially figuring out problems with almost no information. Another thing I love to do is start a new program, I love to play with different soft wares. What I really love is tackling something no one else knows how to do, or maybe no one has ever tried to do. That’s the most magical thing of all, figuring out how to write a program to do something totally unique, or even seemingly impossible. Some programs are boring , some are interesting and for some you can’t wait to complete it. I love that amazing feeling you get after you implement an amazing new feature that works perfectly, yeahhh I created the bouncy ball game in eclipse, happy moments.

I love to program, sometime It takes my frustration away and sometime it makes me much more frustrated,it depends. How about you?

I don’t have a background in programming but I think if I knew some, it would help me tackle a lot of what I’m getting into. I think it’s the need of the times and I’d like to have my kids learn various types of programming. I can understand how it feels to create and fix something… I do get the opportunity to feel that way when I’m writing or designing something. Perhaps the programming challenge is more in sync with the modern world and it’s never too late to learn and catch up.
