CNBC does a special weekly program on Pakistan called Pakistan this week. It looks pretty good as there are young Pakistani hosts who talk about the economy etc… Though I am no expert in economics, or the stock market etc, but I had a friend whose not Pakistan and well versed in the subject, and according to her the hosts have very little idea about economics and alot of the stuff they portay as being positive is actually a sign of weak economy. Has anyone seen it, and if so, what are your thoughts about it?
Re: Program on Pakistan on CNBC?
I donno if it is the same one you're talking about - I've seen one where there's a guy called Shuja who comperes the whole show and has another guy who comments on the stock mkt and economy.
Very annoying nasal voice both, accutely put on accent and totally devoid of any brains whatsoever. Anyone else I watch it with usually starts with a smile and in abt 5 mins it is a comedy show.
But atleast it's one thing not talking abt musharaf and jihadi bombing
Couple of weeks ago they had one guy who interviewd a businessman. He was very good though. No put on accent and actually useful questions
