My point is why atheist is characterized as student in script? answer is to skip/pass/ignore the pertinent question (bolded one). because it is not a shame for a student to be unable to answer.
if you miss a step in logical inference/conclusion process, it is more likely you will come up with wrong answer. and you know all the questions and answer are inter-related. and student dident give a satisfying answer to bolded question.
Questino is : Who do you think made this universe?
following are possible honest replies to the question

1. I have got no answer, sir
2. I dont know who created this universe, sir
3. I dont know who created this universe, sir, but I doubt someone must created this universe.
   either of these asnwers will change the flow of discussion of professor and student.

I like this detail you have picked up … … In order to be a dialogue of the same ilk as the previous two … The student should not have been asked by the Muslim professor “Who do you think made the universe?” … It is out character of a professor or a learned Muslim to be posing such a question to a student.
