Yes ... I'm Acting Vice-Chair of the Muslim Engineers Network we are working on establishing an association with the IMASE (International Muslim Association of Scientists and Engineers).
Also Chartered Quality Professional and network with other quality professionals
Hoping to become a professional in Environmental Management as well inshaAllah ... your du'as for my studies to go well.
I have met up with arafat (the guppy) on some networking. In terms of mutual interaction I have one other friend from GS who I met from GS and then became friends ... but I can't give details of that person as I have amana (trust) not to tell.

Despite a considerable effort I could't evolve out of my own self, the day I would find myself I will engage in building a block of like-unminded.
For now, I am a sole in wilderness of oblivion

I think GS is a lovely place to network , coz we dont just come here for fun , but also manage to make some really good friends too ... therefore i do think we can find like minded people that belong to similar career lines .. and a brilliant opportunity for them to network ...

i am an engineer specialized in a high tech filed of electronics. No personal/professional contacts on GS and would like to keep it that way but consider all GS members as my friends :D

I'm a free lance filmmaker. Digital cinema is the field i'm well versed in. My projects try to include something from pakistan, always; wether they are people, production equipment, actors, teachers, musicians, anything.

There are a number of people from GS, some who are no longer around who I have interacted with on career topics, and the interactions have ranged from sharing perspective to job leads etc. In all cases but one I have nothing but positive experiences.
