I am not sure if I violating any Gupistan terms but I would like to discuss the value of professional associations and identifying those professional groups that deliver significant value.
I am a member of http://www.thehfa.com/ While I am not currently in the industry, I can see myself shift over in a few years. The organization is very active and provides useful deliverables at the meetings. I would be glad to provide any insight into the HFA.
What group do you belong to? Have they helped your career?
