I accept what I think is right, reject what is wrong and if I don’t understand something I do research. I doubt you have read any of Ghamidi’s books. Try to form your own opinion. Study Quran and Sunnah and you won’t have to give me these books by some dudes to prove your point.

In essence you have proven that my sentence in red above was also correct.

I never contradicted it in the first place I only pointed out the absurdity of the implication that a cool-minded person has got something up his sleeve. You ask me for evidence but you have yet to point a single mistake in Ghamdi’s beliefs and so does Aceones. This is your first post in this thread:

To add what you said, he and people like him just fill the gap much needed for those who could put some ‘logic’ to the religious affairs.

Most religious scholars have not been able to understand themselves (not been taught the art of argument and logic) let alone they could calmly explain religious rulings etc. at the level of common people.

There are people who accept anything when they are told : It is from God or the Prophet SAW.

Many others want something more and then these kind of ‘cool minded’ ‘moderate looking’ people come and get fame.

If someone has not studied religion, both kind of people easily can make that person believe what is not even religious. But these cool minded have stronger effect.

And in subsequent posts you have done nothing but berated Ghamdi as cool and wrong!!! Shows you haven’t studied him yet. Now I’m not saying his beliefs don’t have flaws, I m just saying don’t condemn a man just because a Mullah says so.
