hi shi
so my cousin is here from NY
and we r in dallas…the most boring city in the world

so who has sum ideas of how i can entertain her

my parents both have pneumonia plz pray that they get better soooon, i dun wanna leave them home alone, but i dun wanna take them out in the cold either, they r too sick to go out

hmmmm so there’s nothing new to see at the mall, boring.
there r really no great movies out. r there?
wat else…there’s a lot of restaraunts but it’s no fun w/o the parents
bowling? maybe ice skating? but tht closes early

uff…any other ideas, anything? :rotato:

US - well it’s not them, just she. she is a doctor and had an interview for her fellowship job here…so she’s staying with us for a week yaar woh bichari to meri madad kar rahi thi aaj khana pakaney mein aur safai … coz poor mama can’t do anything

thank you, me too.

it’s a bit scary coz my dad hardly ever gets sick

he hasn’t gone to work in 3-4 days and he’s not like that at all, he works very hard for his age.

And for Dallas...boring!!! tell meabout it...This whole tx is borrriiing...nothing else to do apart from shopping....have u seen fort worth museum...its like a 2 room dump:(....I guess all there is here is just a good atmosphere to raise kids and thats all:)...

yeah i agree, i gew up in new york. but i like dallas, it's a nice place to raise a family...but quite boring. wat part of dallas r u in? i moved here abt 4 years ago.

thank u all so much for ur prayers :) I was just making a dua that Ya Allah give all children an opportunity to help and serve their parents, but not in sickness. it's not a nice feeling.

And how different do u find this place then NY...We moved from Chicago though some 7 yrs ago...I really think DFW need some good bigger museums/entertainment or wateven...I guess the "everything is bigger in texas" motto isnt applied in entertainment industry here:D..only the red neck trucks and yee ha boots:D
