I always cut short my pubic hair using scissors. I recently shaved for the first time but my pubic region felt unbarebly itchy for atleast 10-12 days. I want to shave again but the itchiness is keeping me away from it. When I shaved, i used only a razor, without applying any shaving foam or anything of that sort. I’ve started using scissors again coz then it only feels itchy for a coupla days. I wanna shave again. Any advice?
Your skin is like anywhere else on your body is irritated because you are not using any moisturizers or foams. It would be wise to use a shaving cream while shaving and moisturizer after to avoid skin irritation.
Or you can use a cream to remove the hair, like Nair. No itching after use, not even when the hair grows back.
There are many top of the counter creams for itchy skin. You can go ask the associates at your local pharmacy and they can advise you a few for itchy skin.
