Now being an idiot and in a rush, I went to my facebook and got this message.
So I click on This wasn’t me and tried to secure my account and now I don’t remember what I put in for my security question. I’ve tried too many entries for now so it won’t let me go through right now. Good thing, at least, my account is blocked so no one can see me. But I am really worried, I want my account back.
Some idiot has tried to hack into it for God knows what reason. I don’t even know any nerd who would do that. I think the email was fishy. Argh, I don’t know what to do.
There should be something in the help (I m at work and cant access facebook from here for an actual url) for when accounts are hacked. I m sure you should be able to contact facebook either by email or phone and ask them to help you with your account which has been hacked.
I don't mind waiting. I think I should send them an email explaining my problem. Can anyone tell me their email address? I just want to be really sure, too many no lifers with their scams out there.
When you get emails like that never click on the link that they provide. its ususally a forged website that it takes you to and then it captures your user/pass combo.
You can have FB send you a password recovery email by going to the following page: Facebook - Password Recovery
You better have access to the email and then the link you recieve should have you change password and you should be all set. Let this be a lesson to you.
Yeah, I was in a hurry and didn’t realize. They jus look so real. I still haven’ t got my account back yet. There is a way, I contact FB with a government issued card for them to ensure my ID. Anyway, I got another email:
Now, I decided to look this IP address up. It’s NOT mine, I don’t live in Pakistan. Here’s the info I found. Some asshole near Karachi University is doing this.

Someone hacked into my account and I don't remember what I put in for my security question's answer. I tried resetting and stuff but at the moment my account is "locked" by facebook because I tried guessing the security question too many times. I guess I was feeling the roza too when I decided to be so stupid.
Okay, I got it back, finally able to guess the question correctly. The person added his or her secondary email to my account which i removed and all. Changed the p/w as well. :)
That's good to hear gupper. Make sure this time the secret question is really hard so no one can guess it. Also, I hope you changed the secret question after removing the secondary email. :p
