problem solving for the country

granted that enough has been said and done about how the country is being rigged with all kinds of mismanagement. granted that the self proclaimed malicious sleazy ignorant cheap man, a killler of his wife, so called president of the country has already done a lot to make relatively moral Pakistanis, feel ashamed over his actions during speeches and meetings with foreign delegates.

just what is the solution to make Pakistan become strong?

what do you seriously believe in, that must be done, a) to reclaim peace and prosperity in Pakistan & b) preempt all schemes of foreign forces to attack Paksiatn at this opportune time?

frequent and happen stance, totally illogical shifts in the Pakistani govtlt politics is annoying as it is, but the highly damaging effects it is having on all aspects of the nation’s existence, must be brought to a halt.

how can and can a new leader emerge NOW?

who would it be? who can people truly trust?

There is only one way in which a new leader can emerge right NOW, as in immediately.

Army coup.

Otherwise you will have to wait years for the next election, which is the constitutionally mandated way of getting a new leader not only in Pakistan but in all other civilised countried too.

Welcome to democracy, sister. ;)

PS: What proof do you have that he killed his wife? No one involved in the political process, even politicians opposed to him, have ever accused him of involvement.

Law enforcement (powerful and honest police and judiciary) is like basic requirement of "stable" society. So IMO the very first priority is law enforcement not just in FATA/borders but in cities as well.

Once law enforcement is complete then accountability of govt officials, bureacrats and armed forces should be next step.

Re: problem solving for the country

i agree with transparent law enforcement within the country.

the army coupe idea has been s pillaged become unreliable, that one wonders, what would happen, if it is brought on, by Pakistan army's sane chief commander.

what about judges and & senior university heads, if Imran Khan for some reason is never allowed to come up to the level of presidency?

would it help to have all communities, sects of the country, provinces & local cities, villages & towns, hold regular meetings for the people at community centers, & mosques to share what must be done to rectify everything that is happening lawlessly and take out all those agencies, internal or external which are creating riff raff amongst the people of the nation?

the first thing is, the country's nation's own inner unity.

what can youth do? any ideas?
taking to streets, marching around and holding placards of justice, will not hone in any sympathy by powers that are underservinly seated on the chairs which they ought not to sit on.
civil disobedience, under the risks of own lives, is a far thought for many pragmatic people.

signs from the faith are, when a nation is lost in affluence, dependency, greed & empty glory, then God will actually replace it with better what a nation is like.

if social and economic systems' unclogging is sincerely carried out, then there is hope that the politics, media & defense will sort theirselves out, too.

any role that the expert professionals who are politcal and economic theorists, can help present some choice models, from which stratgies may be selected and implemented?

Gambling with nation's fate! What ensures that the next General will be better? Nothing, right? So let the process settle down and do your work i.e. educate people to be more "democratic" etc.

I personally believe that pakistan has gone down the drain , and it will take an effort like a legendary Teepu sultan or sher shah suri to dig them out.

Pakistan was a nation with emotion and with some self respect which seems not to be the case as for now.

I am not sure, if only politicians are only to blame. I think we are all in it together. There are people who actually don't care, as long as they get what they want.

We do say that we have cruel leaders but the cruelty doesn't run one way, it's because may be we are cruel too so we have cruel leaders.

What you grow is what you reap!

I think it's about time we throw this corrupt system away. Need new educated leaders who are not here to make their own business.

Other then that i am afraid it's all awaste.

Where's the nation's pride? When USA attacked pakistani people in pakistani territory, and pakistan so called "retaliated by a statement". This nation or country has no future i am afraid.

Re: problem solving for the country

What I feel is pakistan have been exploited by its politicians, mullahs and army and the nexus of all these three is what pakistan is curreny paying for.

Re: problem solving for the country

^ I also think foriegn elements had a big role to play.

Re: problem solving for the country

when the likes of the "MUSLIM" country's pres drools when he shmoozes a female designated member of a meeting in the host country, what difference does it make, whether that pres has a pride & the pride of a nation, which this inapt creature was to uphold...

the slightest chance of Pakistan is in having a really resolute and smart leadership. that person will handle things within the country & without, with unwavering goals of stable and fair, firm & principled governance.

nothing short of this will ever allow for Pakistan's reclaim to growth, development of a nation's strong foundations & international as well as civic lawfulness & collective ethics.

we do not carry intellectual & precise discussions, on the accountabiliyt of the people in office. and we should. & kick that person that out, who we deem & have clear evidence that s/he is not sincere to the country.
THAT, will set the house in order.

foreign elements cant shake the base of a country .
Right now pakistan's base is shaky.
make a survery and see how many people believe in doings of taliban and al queda in pakistan.
And blaming everything on foreign handi s easier way of solving ur problem?? the suicide bombers and people fightig in FATA are not indians. Its ur own people.

Are you kidding me? Are you well versed in world history and politics?

Right now pakistan's base is shaky.
And what exactly is our 'base'?
make a survery and see how many people believe in doings of taliban and al queda in pakistan.
I dont need to, theres already credible western surveys available, please dig them up, and you'll find excatly opposite of what you are saying. If you cant, Ill find them for you.

And blaming everything on foreign handi s easier way of solving ur problem??
I said, in addition to what you wrote. And yes, India is a big part of the problem. Its not like they are lovey dovey when it comes to Pakistan affairs.
the suicide bombers and people fightig in FATA are not indians. Its ur own people.

And the ones that carry out blasts in India are your people too right?

Re: problem solving for the country

It will help everyone to read a book by a professor who lost his son to the invasion war in Iraq. Prof. Andrew Basevich's The Limits of Power.

It speaks of the blinding cosumerism, implerialistic capitalism & US intl policies due to which America is in crisis, & yet the propagande is continued to make other countries and nations, look like they are in need of US hegamony over them.

As a patriot American, I also will say that given my constitutional rights and sincere well wishing hopes and prayers for this country where I live in, for now, I know that its govt will have to change, other wise, America could become the next Russia and alot more worse.

here is a survey

and here is the economic condition of pakistan

Let us build Pakistan: Friends of Pakistan

and the thousands of people fighting in FATA against pakistani army are not indians and do u think they will take help from an infidel country .

75% of pakistanis hate US and if they stop 75% of aid ,pakistan will be in a big trouble.

Where did you get that? A "Pew" survey would've more credibility.

Re: problem solving for the country

75%?..lol..thts a very low percentage..i think its abt 90%..

I have yet to met a single Indian who does not hate America with a passion. Majority of Europeans dislike Americans with a passion. So people disliking America is a non-issue.

If US is providing aid to Pakistan, it is not for the development of Pakistan, it for the protection of their own interests. Most of the aid money is channeled back to the U.S. anyway.

Re: problem solving for the country

No Pakistani hates US. Check out the lines in front of the US embassy. You open the visa today everyone would love to go.

We may disagree with US policies but absolutely do NOT hate any country or any humans.

Chintu.... you can spare our valuable time and spread such lies somewhere else on a Hindi forum.

Re: problem solving for the country

Chintu, firstly I meant 'reputed' surveys.

Re: problem solving for the country

People workout their visions according to their brains...but how you make a fool a wiseman...or vice versa... :D

Re: problem solving for the country

Hey indians have a habit of whining about the foreign countries they are living in . In Australia you'll find many indians repeating every thing is in india, its our home, expected too much, now we are stuck and then going and naming their children Kenny and Clara! Indians should talk! and when one says foreign agencies have a hand in it, it means this is part of the problem so this has to be part of the solution. people need to be fixed firstly and honestly has to be encouraged. as a nation pakistanis lack this trait the most.
