now a days … every new software required win XP or 200 … if anyone is Win98 lover what should he do ??? or is he have :stuck_out_tongue: … P2 … then winXp will noe a good idea :slight_smile: ..

as a new version of MSN is also requiered winXp and 2000 , even a new chat messenger google talk and a very big list ..

any idea what to do ? .. dont be funny here .. jokes are only allowed in jokes section

I think you should also switch to Win XP. Most of people are using Win Xp now a days. So, developers will not develop a software compatible with Win 98 especially for you.

Like Sherry suggested switch over to Windows XP. If it's the theme/style of Win98 SE that you like, then you can make a few changes in XP, so that it will resemble Win98.

not to forget that its stable too as compared to 98 and u also have less system crashes.

Perhaps his hardware dose not allows him to install WinXp on his computer.

whats the specs of your computer dude?

I have this Purana Dabba with celeron 700. Works fine with Win2k/XP/Debian. Had to upgrade the RAM from 128 MB to 512 MB though.

Or you can always use ReactOS](http://www.reactos.com/) as an alternative OS. Its free, supports most of the windows applications & Drivers (NT4, 2000, XP, 2003). And best thing is, its only about 10 MB in the size. :smiley:
