Assalam O Aalaikom brothers,
I have a question about shaving pubic hair, which includes underarm and around private part area. My friend told me that we should shave pubic hair. I need some more resources.
Brothers, can you please tell me that is it a must to shave pubic hair? Since I cannot ask this question to my parents as I get ashamed to ask like these kind of questions.

I dont know about shaving but trimming doesnt hurt.
The more pubic hair you have the worse the odor gets, so it is advisable to at least trim that area along with the armpit hair. It is part of the hygiene that the Prophet PBUH promoted as a sunnah.

Pubic hairs, both in the armpits and below the belly, should be shaved periodically. It is blameworthy not doing so beyond 15 days and sinful beyond 40 days.

isnt it only for the pubic area, if it isn’t, i’d have to shave my thighs, hips, legs. Im a hairy guy already, i dont want it getting thicker and darker.

^ Coz they're losing their hair and dont wanna look like a buddha baba with a receding hairline? Coz it just suits them? I dont think its haram for ment o shave htier hair and i doubt it has anything to do with hygene but more of a personal preference..

Speaking of hair, I recommend that all guys get rid of back hair. I remember getting on an elevator and seeing this dude who had the fur peeking out of his shirt, making me want to hurl.
I think trimming is the best option.

ha, i thought it said all hair in armpits and below naval should be shaven, but he said that pubic hair in armpits have to shaven as well?

Shaving doesnt make the actuall hair thicker and darker.. it only feels that way coz the hair is very thick at the root level and finer/thinner at the tip, so when hair is growing in and you feel stubble, it will feel thicker n darker.. Wax is always good :k:

Yah, exaggerated a bit, but im not gonna shave anything, trim probably but no shaving, and definitly not waxing anything.
