Can anyone tell me about the awesome private Mansions in Karachi where all the awesome weddings take place? I’ve heard quite a lot about them on this forum and from a few people back in Karachi. I’d like to know as much as I can about these secret hidden places?
Re: Private (Grand) Mansions/Homes with great Lawns for Weddings in Karachi?
You already started this thread on the exact same subject and got numerous responses and advice. Do you really think anyone is going to give you names and addresses of the rich and famous to contact on an open and online forum?

Have you looked into the houses featured on television dramas or films? Usually, in the credits it states the particular place where it was shot and gives a "thanks to.." to the owner of the house. A friend of mine did that (we live in the UK though). She quite liked one of the stately homes featured on Downton Abbey (a popular period drama here) and looked it up in the credits and on the show's website.

^You should definitely go khatti! The grounds and gardens are beautiful. A couple of weeks ago, I attended a charity dinner there for my fiance's job and the interior is gorgeous.

^It was quite lovely. We had the chance to have dinner in the dinning room, where the family is always shown eating on the show (the one with with all the paintings, which has a large painting of a gentleman on a horse behind where Lord Robert usually sits). You feel as if you're on the show. It would have been perfect if the dinner had been period themed and people went in period costume, but alas :(.We also got a tour of the Egyptian Exhibit, which has artifacts from the original King Tut expedition as it was the then owner of the Highclere, the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who discovered the tomb. That was quite interesting as well. I would definitely recommend it. I love the show too!

This is a good idea..
Also there are sites here which list venues available for films, photoshoots etc. Am sure a lot of them would be ok with weddings and parties as well..

Event planners (especially the posh ones in karachi) have access/can get information on the homes and mansions featured in dramas and movies/photoshoots, or usually can find out if their private residences available for hire. OP was advised to contact an event planner in her previous thread.
