according to indian defence ministry a noise could be heard as smoke billowed from the launch site around the time of the blasting.lol
sources are blaming rats for blocking the exhaust pipes of the missile that is a copy of old cold-war era soviet missile cloned in india.

Things can go wrong. It does not mean that India does not have the ability to launch again. A thorough analysis is required and would be done on why it failed. It would be rectified and the necessary action taken.
