First of all, I don't think he is representing any ideology such. Maybe culture, but certainly not ideology.
Secondly, maybe because he is from a 'dying breed'. And in a way, Palin may have documented something that might vanish entirely after a few years/decades. Anyway, I don't like this kind of sports, they are too dangerous. But men are so stupid, they think it's adventure!
