primolute-N, pregnancy or periods

hey gals,

I need help… for that m writing all this at 3:00 am :frowning:
I went on Hajj and took primolute-N for delaying ma periods… doc told me that i’ll get ma regular periods within 7 days… I welcomed ma periods after two days, when i left medicine… but unusually light periods, with strange smell and brown in color and really very light, in contrast of what i was told, by others ladies at hajj ( most of them were taking this same med ) that flow will be really heavey and painfull, though they were painful

Now m confused, ma freinds askin me to take pregnancy test as they said 2-3 days of light periods happen in pregnancy as well…
not to mention m having continous headache :(…

PS: i cant go for pregnancy test, as m in Saudia Arabia, and my husband is having tight schedule,Home pregnancy test showing negative… I m soooo excited so i thought to ask u guys…

This is going to be difficult to answer for online readers. withdrawal bleeding characteristics after primolute-N varies from light to heavy ...

Can one become pregnant on birth control? ... yes they can. its rare but it does happen ... esp if the medication was not taken/timed correctly.

Are you pregnant? ....... I have no idea! no one can possibly predict that based on vague physical symptoms.
you need to either wait it out and do another pregnancy test in 2 weeks or get to your doc and get a serum pregnancy test.

as to the headache ... worsening of migrains is a known side effect of this BC.

Sorry to disappoint u, but I don't think u r pregnant. Please do update us with the outcome though. :)
