speaking of Zee TV, I heard it has been banned in Pakistan due to recent heavy propaganda regarding Pak-Indo tensions...is this true?
I for one am glad they got rid of the channel. It was disheartening to see all of Pakistan glued to Zee and being brainwashed with Indian cultural propaganda. Pakistan should have made the move long ago, since India has PTV banned.
In Addition to Zee, some other Indian channel has also been banned due to propaganda as well, I think.

nope. only civil authorities in meerut decided to ban PTV in Meerut. PTV is still not banned in India even after Indian channels are banned in Pak. Dont go by abdali's comments. get facts.

Mad bro, no I dont know how to get any paki channels here. Some months ago, they did broadcast a pakistani channel, cant remember which on on sat. but now its gone... How can I get some information about the pakistani channels? Why dont they show on cable, well if they start broadcasting pakistani channel on sat again, I would be willing to get sat, but it would be useless and waste of money buying and installing satlite dish, if they dont show pakistani channels.

it's a new channel, give it a break
it needs time to develope and establish, and people (like you Alibeta) need to give feedback on what they like and what they don't like. As someone else said before, at least be appreciative that it exists, and Inshallah it'll be improved. We've had it for about a month and a half, though some programs can be extremely boring, but some others are nice. I like the dramas, and the music shoes are being improved so soon enough it'll be meeting everyone's demands. I say, keep it!
Ali-Beta, you are very much rite..PTV has changed a lot after the newyear. There are new and better programs comming up..Also the timmings of the programs are being adjusted according to the way of living here. Some nice programs are on too..MOre music programs are on and good comedy like "FAMILY FRONT" and also a drama classis "TANHAYAAN" will be on air shortly.Last few days all i have been watching is PTV.."mohabbat ka ek pahar" is just awesome..
I certainly hope its gonna get better.I would like to see"Alpha Bravo Charlie".. my all time favourite.
one thing that will make them perfect is showing some damn cricket matches, until then i boycott ptv

Yaar Umair, this isnt Pakistan where they get international broadcasting rights and they can show matches on national TV. All matches are avaiable on pay per view in the US. I highly doubt if they will show matches ever on Prime!
