Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
^
in brief that means that pak won by 5 wickets....
and it also means that we seriously need to drop kamran akmal and get younis khan in the team....
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
^ I would say do it now, sooner is better.
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
Pakistan needs Younis Khan more than ever rite now. The person who needs to be dropped is Mohammad Hafeez.

**Younis steers Pakistan to victory **](BBC SPORT | Cricket | International Teams | Pakistan | Younis steers Pakistan to victory)
Tour match, Canberra: Pakistan 192-5 (42.5 overs) beat Australian Prime Minister’s XI 191 (46.4 overs) by five wickets
**Younis Khan receives the Man of the Match award **
Younis Khan hit an unbeaten 62 as Pakistan cruised to a five-wicket victory over an Australian Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra.
The home side were dismissed for just 191 despite an astonishing 40 off 13 balls from opener Luke Ronchi.
All-rounders Shoaib Malik (3-28) and Azhar Mahmood (2-23) were the pick of Pakistan’s attack.
Yousuf Youhana made 50 off 68 balls in reply before Younis and Mohammad Hafeez (36) sealed the win with a stand of 76.
The match provided Pakistan with useful practice ahead of their next VB Series game against West Indies on Friday.
But seam bowler Mohammad Khalil had a day to forget as he bore the brunt of Ronchi’s assault, conceding 51 from six overs.
Ronchi hit two sixes and six fours as the home side raced to 57-0 off four overs, but he was then caught by Malik off Mahmood.
The Prime Minister’s XI slumped to 103-4 before Chris Rogers (46) and Stewart Heaney (35) added 61 for the fifth wicket.
But when Rogers hit Malik to Salman Butt, it sparked a terminal collapse which saw the last six wickets go down in 10 overs for just 27 runs, including that of home skipper Michael Bevan, who was bowled by Hafeez for seven.
Pakistan struggled at the start of their innings as Ben Edmondson removed openers Taufeeq Omar (five) and Butt (23).
Yasir Hameed also missed out when he was caught behind off Mick Lewis for five, but Youhana struck a six and five fours before he was run out.
Hafeez became Edmondson’s third victim with Pakistan just nine runs short of their target, leaving Malik (one not out) to assist Younis in completing the formalities.
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
Nicely done :k:
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
good judgement from this game! then we also should never play Taufeeq, Yasir, Khalil and replace Razzaq with Azhar?
yaaro, it was a side match. Hafeez scored some 60+ runs in a side match before the series and we all saw his GREAT performance. plz, don’t look at side matches for the performance of our players.
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
we should atleast give danny a chance to prove that he is 1 day material. a quality leg spinner he is and he shouldn't just be for tests' only. i hope he plays' one days' in india, it will be gr8 to see a indian bowling a indian out.
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
Since when did Danny become Indian. ![]()
Does that mean Zaheer, Kaif and Irfan are Pakistanis?

Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
Younis Khan shoud be in the one day side instate of Y Y
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
younis has been performing better than yoyo and is in form... and i think younis should be given a chance.. take hafeez out... salman can be the sixth bowler or malik should get his act straight.
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
apologeez all around i mean't to say a hindu bowling a hindu out.
Re: Prime Minister's XI vs pakistan
luc....im disappointed :(
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
You are so amusing. It is hard to believe you have spent most of your life in the UK. I think people living in Srinagar and Muzzaffarabad have more respect for each other than what you have for other ethnicities.
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
what? i didn’t mean any disrespect, u took it that way so can’t help that can i?
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
so?? haven’t you seen India vs. Sri-Lanka matches? Many of the Lankan players are Hindus.
Re: Prime Minister’s XI vs pakistan
danny is only the 2nd hindu after his uncle anil dalpat to play for pak EVER. quite a biggie for pak no? and u guys taking wat i said the wrong way, well wat can i say about ur deviating minds.
