Prime goes nuts again...

Last night they were showing premiere episode of K’Kaanch kay pur’ when 15 minutes into the drama, they interrupt it with a 20 minute Ghulam Farid Sabri Qawwaal’s nazrana. The program schedule suggested there were still 40 minutes more of the drama.

This is really pathetic behavior from Prime.

That drama has been shown before a few times on PTV. Perhaps that is why they felt they could just take it off the air like that. Who actually runs the station? Is it done from London or the States? I don't think any amount of complaining will have any effective results.

they also screwed up "mujhey pyar chahiye" twice and restarted from the middle of the series and changed their entire lineup. screwed up.

and they are playing dramas at 7:25pm which are scheduled at 7:50pm.

I was watching “mujhey pyar chehiye” and was concluding to “mujhey Zeher chehiye”

One thing I noticed is that they are now showing “PST and EST” times in their publicity clips rather than “UK and USA” times. Looks like they have started broadcasting from NY studio that’s why Prime was messed up on last weekend. But hey this is commercial world and there is very little margin of error and Prime kept doing this again and again. I guess they are taking us for granted. Mistake huh?

If Prime Tv are showing PST and EST times does this mean Pacific Standard Time or Pakistan Standard Time.

I think Prime Tv is great.

Zeher chehiye :konfused: ,I find this so spontaniousley funny :rotfl:
there is no Hi-5 smiley so take this

The worst thing is if you have a TIVO (dishplayer) hooked on and you want to record programmes! It records something else, as the prime ppl never bother to change the listings.

Tell me about it ! the program guide says somethign else and the the stupid channels shows something else…its all so screwed up…its like some kid from elementary is running the channel

No brother. not yet. I am actually surprised they are still showing music programs and stuff. However, one of the promo suggests that 10 Muharram will be dedicated to Azadari. Lots of marsias, zikr and Shaam-e-ghareebaan.

I remember last year, they showed some fabulous programs about the origins and history of Shias, beliefs, customs and practices. It was quite insightful and enlightening. I haven't seen anything this year though.

Re: Prime goes nuts again…

funguy :hehe: why even bother watching it

:rotfl:

During the long weekend (Pres Day) they were planning re-runs of two dramas (Sahil ki Tamanna and Mujhe Piyaar Chahiyay) late at night (Pacific time), so I offered my Ammi that I will record it on PVR for her. When I checked program guide, they were 1 hour behind on their schedule... so I ended up recording 2 hours of PTV Awards as well. Wonderful :p

Prime needs to wake up!!!
