They take a vow of celibacy that seems to make people crazy hence child molestation cases within the church.
Was reading about a story (linked below) that I want the book and movie rights too. It’s got a priest killing a nun (the stab wounds in the shape of a cross) a secret society where clergymen and laymen would dress up as nuns and performed rituals, which included sexually abusing children.

Dont they have some sort of people watching these places, to uh make sure these nuns or priests dont lose control? Plus I dont think their vow of celibacy is completely to blame. There are plenty of other factors as well.

Well priests hear confessions, peoples dirty little secrets. After years of doing that it must affect your well being somehow.

UTD - pedophiles go where the kids are and they usually go in positions of power. A pedophile is not created by taking a vow of celibacy, that is the same as someone saying a terrorist is created by someone becoming or being a muslim. Many priests are celebate and do not harm children, as many muslims are not terrorists.
As a christian, I should trust my Priest. He is in charge of leading my soul to God and what on this earth is more important than that. I should be able to trust him with my children and most do.
Bad people doing misguided and bad things are everywhere. Including religious leaders. Painting everyone with the same brush is pointless.
