Prickly heat powder

My daughter got summer piTT (small rashes on the back due to sweat and heat) and I remember we used to have prickly heat powder in pakistan but I couldn’t find anything like that in cvs yesterday. What do you use here in US? I see regular talc / cornstarch powders by johnson and johnson and couple of other varieities includeing a “medicated” one but I was not sure which one applies.

Is there any over the counter powder or lotion for piTT/prickly heat and where can I get it? Thanks.

Re: Prickly heat powder

Roman, you can buy the prickly heat powder from a desi grocery store... I have seen it here in Houston.

BTW: When did you get married.. and who is the unfortunate one :) Congrats....
Mod bhi ban gaya dubara.. Azkar you are a dead man walking.

kaleem thanks, will check it out :k:

Re: Prickly heat powder

THey sell Gold Bond medicated powder in local Pharmacies like Rite Aid/Walgreens. Try that, it is similar to prickly heat. Have you talked to your doctor? How old is she, keep her uncovered for some periods in the day so she doesn't get too heated/sweaty in the back? I think diaper rash cream amy help as well no? But check with her pediatrician

afro, we moved in recent months and have her first doctor visit schedule end of this week. will ask her too. :k:

she is 18 months as of today :k: and she is too fond of awara gardee with her grandmother these days that it’s hard to control her. she either plays in the balcony or goes out to play with other kids and with kinda heat these days she ended up with prickly heat.
